Job Locations and Reviews

Arvada, CO - I replaced the primary shut off valve with a 3/4-inch ball valve, followed by the installation of a 3/4-inch pressure-reducing valve (PRV) immediately after it. The front yard hose bib shut off was replaced with a 1/2-inch ball valve. For the backyard hose bib, a new valve required redrilling through the exterior wall, and a bleeder valve was installed between the hose bib and its interior shut off. On the main floor, I replaced the toilet fill valve, supply line, shut off, and escutcheon. After turning the water back on, I conducted thorough testing and confirmed there were no leaks.

I replaced 4” piping under the slab to connect with the existing 3” vertical drop. The old basement bathroom group piping was removed and disposed of appropriately. New drain lines were routed for the underground kitchen sink, laundry connection, and emergency floor drain, including a mechanical studor vent. Piping for the basement toilet, lav sink, and shower was installed, with fixture locations confirmed with the homeowner. The main level powder room toilet drop was repiped for proper slope, a “wye” was added for a future shower line, and a vent line was capped as requested. All new piping was bedded in pea gravel and sloped correctly. The work was reviewed and approved by the customer and passed city inspection.

I replaced a faulty water heater with a new 50-gallon Bradford White electric water heater. First, I turned off the water supply and drained the system. Protective drop cloths were laid from the entry to the mechanical area. The old heater was removed and disposed of. A new professional-grade heater was installed, including isolation ball valves, a thermal expansion device, a flood protection pan with a drain line, and electrical connections. The system was re-pressurized, the thermostat adjusted, and the area cleaned up. I reviewed the completed work with the homeowner.

We secured an emergency permit, worked with the dig crew, and carefully removed a pipe section. We routed new pipe through the foundation, installed a new section with a compression fitting, and added a main water shut-off valve. Finally, we coordinated for an inspection.

I successfully replaced the defective main shut off valve with a new quarter turn ball valve. This involved carefully cutting out the old valve and installing the new one to ensure a secure fit. Similarly, I replaced the defective half-inch shut off valve with a new quarter turn ball valve. After completing the installations, I turned the water back on and conducted thorough testing to confirm that both valves functioned correctly. I reviewed the work with the homeowner to ensure they were satisfied with the repairs and the overall functionality of the system.

I successfully installed two new professional grade Toto Drake II comfort height elongated toilets. The installation process involved precise placement of a 1/4 turn shut-off valve to ensure easy access for future maintenance. A braided flex supply line was connected to provide flexibility and durability. The above-ground flange connections were meticulously secured to ensure a stable base. Each toilet was equipped with a soft-close seat for quiet and smooth operation. White caulking was applied around the base of each toilet to enhance support and create a watertight seal, preventing leaks. After completing the installations, I removed any drop cloths, thoroughly cleaned the work area, and obtained the homeowner's approval of the completed work.
